Stainless steel sinks and nickel allergy?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Stainless steel contains different amounts of nickel depending on the type. Bathers who come into contact with stainless steel pools and are allergic to nickel can rest assured: Unlike components with nickel content worn directly on the body, there is no direct contact with nickel when touching the stainless steel surface of swimming pools; the passive layer – the layer on the surface that turns the steel into stainless steel – consists mainly of chromium oxide. The contact of the float with the stainless steel surface does not lead to any nickel-containing abrasion.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

How valuable is stainless steel scrap?<\/h3>\n

The value of stainless steel at the end of its \u2018life cycle\u2019 is formed in the same way as prices on the stock market. Supply and demand determine the daily achievable price. Because stainless steel is both a building material and a very valuable raw material, the market volume is continuously increasing. This trend is continuing – stainless steel is a \u2018generational material\u2019 – because once produced, this stainless steel will be used again by children and grandchildren. Sustainability in its finest form!<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

What does the water in stainless steel pools look like?<\/h3>\n

The colour of the water appears blue. Water filters out all spectral colours – except blue. Depending on the water depth, purity and incidence of light, the water surface in the stainless steel pool will also appear blue in colour. As the water depth increases, the blue colour becomes more intense and darker.<\/p>\n

Tile, polyester and PVC pools create an unnaturally blue appearance with their blue colour. Impurities in the water are therefore barely recognisable<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
